Pulsar, the evolution of the door to door system
Underground and semi-underground containers of the Pulsar line have been designed to make possible urban waste collection with large quantity of waste and, where requested, the identification of the user and the weighting of the waste.
Pulsar containers are more and more widely used in different kinds of premises: residential buildings, shopping malls, recycling stations, camping parks, parking lots, airports, city centers, tourist areas and new expanding areas.
Their purposes include minimizing the environmental impact by literally hiding the containers underground. At the same time recycling rate grows, together with several other benefits, most important of which, the reduction of costs.
Installation Is very simple and does not require big construction operations: it is sufficient to perform a small digging and to create a concrete base on the bottom of it where to place the containers.
All Pulsar containers are set to be equipped with KGN’ s low consumption electronic devices necessary for:
Users’ identification;
Automatic opening;
Waste weighting;
Data transmission;
Remote management of functioning parameters.
Komp@ct-P, the evolution of the door to door system
European and National regulation on waste management is becoming day by day more complete and precise, driven by the attempt to reach the highest level of recyclable material recovery and reintroduction of the same for energy production.
Not recyclable waste must represent a decreasing percentage and the citizen should be encouraged to recycle upon a method of charging based on his real production of waste given by a strict monitoring.
Waste collection costs are considerably high for a Municipality that undertakes waste monitoring, mostly because of the enormous amount of equipments and human resources dedicated to the pursuit of the goal.
KGN’ s solution to the above issue, already chosen by several important Municipalities, is Komp@ct-P, a machine that monitors the waste production of each authorized citizen and that, measuring the quantity of waste, enables to charge the correct fee.
The peculiar feature of Komp@ct-P is the possibility to store a large quantity of pressed waste; the emptying frequency of the press container, and the related costs, are therefore dramatically reduced: the container is emptied only when completely full. A 15 cubic mt press container for residual waste serves 400 families for over 30 days.
Furthermore, the management of the data transmitted by Komp@ct-P, is done on the tested sql platform, directly accessible by the Municipalities’ s operators.
